DESCRIPTION:The ruins of the house that sits on the grounds of the Winery at Bull Run, known as Hillwood Mansion, have been witness to countless events that have shaped the land that surrounds it. This simple summer farm became the site of the first major land battle of the Civil War before settling into being the private residence for many families, and then emerging once again as the farm winery we know today. We invite you to step back in time and come face to face with some of the men and women who helped shape our country and the landscape in which we reside.\nCome participate in fun activities for the whole family, including watching reenactors and storytellers, live bluegrass music, a good old-fashioned grape stomp, and much more. The Bull Run Pizza Shack and Cheesesteak Love will have food for sale from 12-6 PM, and the Kona Shaved Ice truck will be here from 12-4 PM.\nAll events are all ages, and open to the public. No ticket is required.\n
