DESCRIPTION:The ruins of the house that sits on the grounds of the Winery at Bull Run, known as Hillwood Mansion, have been witness to countless events that have shaped the land that surrounds it. This simple summer farm became the site of the first major land battle of the Civil War before settling into being the private residence for many families, and then emerging once again as the farm winery we know today.
