01What is the Haunted Wine Tour?
The Bull Run Haunted Wine Tour is a one-hour lantern-led, outdoor walking tour through the historic and hallowed grounds of The Winery at Bull Run.
Our tour guides will lead you as spirits of the battlefield come to life and share stories of the past as you enjoy our award-winning Virginia wines. This experience can be best described as a theatrical ghost tour.
02What times do the tours start?
Tours start at 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. There are 6:30 PM time slots available on select dates.
03Is this event limited to ages 21+ only?
Because alcohol will be served, guests under 21 years of age are strictly prohibited and will not be permitted. This includes infants. Please bring a valid photo ID with you to check in.
04How do I buy tickets?
Tickets are online only, and can be purchased through our Tock Reservations page. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the door.
05How long will Haunted Wine Tours be running?
Haunted Wine Tours will begin on September 29th, and last through November 1st, 2026.
06Do you offer Haunted Wine Tours on Fridays and Saturdays?
Currently, we do not offer Haunted Wine Tours on those days, including Halloween this year.
07How many people can I bring on a tour?
Guests can purchase up to 6 tickets at a time. If you are interested in buying out the full tour, you can reach out to our team at info@wineryatbullrun.com.
08What should I wear?
Because Haunted Wine Tours are an outdoor experience, we recommend that you dress comfortably to be outside during October, and wear comfortable walking shoes.
09What happens if it rains?
In the case of inclement weather, the tour routes may be adjusted to encompass covered or indoor areas. Other than the route, the Haunted Wine Tour experience will remain the same.
10Are dogs allowed?
Dogs will not be permitted for Haunted Wine Tours.
11When should I arrive?
We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes before your tour is scheduled to begin. Check-in will open at 6:15 each night. Tour groups will be gathered 5-10 minutes prior to the tour beginning for the first pour and additional instructions.
12What if I arrive late?
Guests who arrive more than 15 minutes after their scheduled start time may be asked to join a later tour. When possible, late arriving guests will be walked to wherever the tour group is at the point of their arrival. EVERY guest must check in prior to joining a tour
13What are hours at The Winery for Haunted Wine Tour Guests ?
The Winery will remain open until 10 pm exclusively for Haunted Wine Tour ticket holders on the night of your tour. Last call is at 9:30 pm.
