With over 30 years of combined experience, The Winery at Bull Run’s Events Team is passionate about creating unforgettable celebrations from start to finish.

From your very first tour of the venue, our dedicated team will guide you through every step of the planning process. We’ll help you select the package that best fits your vision, connect you with trusted vendors that align with your style and budget, and provide expert advice along the way.

As your event approaches, we work closely with your vendor team to ensure every detail is thoughtfully planned and executed. Our goal is to make the process enjoyable, seamless, and stress-free, so you can focus on the excitement of your special day.

Sarah Pichardo

Director of Sales & Operations

Sarah joined The Winery at Bull Run in 2021 as part of the private events team. Since then, she has advanced into the role of Events and Sales Manager and now serves as the Director of Sales and Operations.

In her role, Sarah consults with clients planning weddings, corporate gatherings, and social celebrations, while also overseeing the winery’s daily operations. Her extensive background in sales and customer service enables her to lead the team with confidence and finesse.

Her favorite part of the job is building genuine relationships with clients, with her team, and with the many new faces she meets each day. By actively listening to her clients’ needs and combining creative problem-solving with exceptional service, Sarah consistently helps bring their visions to life.

Sarah’s favorite wine is the Vidal Blanc.

Sadaf Sizdahkhani

Lead Sales Manager

Sadaf is The Winery at Bull Run's Lead Event Sales Representative and has been with the winery's events team since February of 2023. Coming from a culinary and hospitality background, with degrees from Johnson & Wales University and Virginia Tech, she brings a unique perspective to the team and is passionate in the way food and beverage bring people together, especially in life's most celebratory moments!

Her favorite part of her role is meeting with clients face to face and helping them navigate finding their dream venue, whether it's for a casual get together following a big team win, special milestone birthday, and especially weddings. Sadaf hopes to be a welcoming and supportive resource for all prospective clients looking for a fun, unique venue for all occasions in Northern Virginia.

When not at work, Sadaf enjoys cooking, creating, hosting friends and family, traveling (preferably to the beach!), hanging out with her pets, and taking long walks out in nature. She also serves as an alumni advisor for several organizations at her alma mater and is grateful for the ability to give back through mentorship.

Sadaf's favorite Bull Run wine is the Cabernet Franc.

Kennedy Giroux

Sales and Events Coordinator

Kennedy joined The Winery at Bull Run in March 2026 with her role as a Sales & Event Coordinator. Graduating with a degree in Communication Studies from Longwood University, and growing up five minutes away from the winery, she has found a new passion for not only private events but wine as well!

Kennedy's favorite part of her role at the winery is getting to tour new clients and being a part of their celebration. Whether it's for a wedding, birthday party, or just a fun get together, she really thrives seeing the client's excitement turn from an idea to a reality. Outside of work, she loves to spend time with friends and family, camping, traveling, and going on adventures.

Kennedy's favorite Bull Run wine is the Sparkling Rosé.

Caroline Joy

Operations & Event Coordinator

Caroline joined The Winery at Bull Run in September of 2024. She started with our team as a Wine Sales Associate and has quickly grown her career here. After joining the Events Team and becoming a Part Time Manager in 2025, she has recently been promoted to Operations & Event Coordinator.

Caroline brings energy, organization, and genuine hospitality to every event she oversees. She is dedicated to delivering flawless events that reflect her clients’ visions, and she always goes the extra mile to ensure every experience is exceptional. Outside of work, she loves spending time outdoors (especially hunting, fishing, and adventuring with her dog Freyja) and cherishes time with her family.

Caroline's favorite Bull Run wine is the Cabernet Franc Reserve.

Jamie Rockenbaugh

Event Coordinator

Jamie joined the winery nearly five years ago and has grown her career through several roles, including Wine Sales Associate, Utility Team Member, and Utility Lead. A 2024 graduate of George Mason University with a degree in Tourism and Events Management, she now serves as an Event Coordinator, bringing both academic knowledge and hands-on experience to every event she supports—elevating each experience through thoughtful details and seamless execution.
Jamie's favorite part of the job is crafting the perfect event for her clients, with a special passion for turning wedding-day dreams into realities. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, visiting national parks and historic sites, baking, antiquing, and discovering new coffee shops.
Jamie's favorite Bull Run wine is the Petit Verdot.
