Q: Is there a membership fee?
A: Yes, there is an initial, one-time only fee for The Winery at Bull Run’s Wine Clubs.

Q: How much does it cost to be a club member?
A: For the Generals Club: $100.00 initial sign-up fee or case purchase + three (3) bottles of wine at 15% off retail price (your choise of just whites, just reds, or a combination of both) chosen by the winemaker and distrbuted quarterly (12 botles of wine annually).
For the King Carter Red and Miss Lilly Lee White Clubs: $30 initial sign-up fee or three (3) bottle purchase + three (3) bottles quarterly at 15% off the retail prices.

A: You will be automatically charged per the schedule below:

Q: Why should I join one of The Winery at Bull Run’s wine clubs?
A: The Winery at Bull Run's wine clubs are the best way to enjoy The Winery at Bull Run and our wines at a discounted price year-round. Every wine selection will bring a new wine experience to you and offer you access to our wines, including limited quantity and pre-released wines, as well as exclusive club member only events!
Members also enjoy discounts on wine, food, and merchandise, as well as on our ticketed events!
Q: How long does membership last?
A: Membership in one of The Winery at Bull Run’s wine clubs is required for four quarterly shipments. Memberships are automatically renewed after the first year at no extra charge until a cancellation notice is given. Notice must be received at least 30 days prior to the memership anniversary date to avoid automatic renewal. The Winery reserves the right to cancel any membership at any time.
Q: Is there a commitment?
A: Yes, a one-year commitment is required or four quarterly shipments, otherwise a $100 early cancellation fee applies.
: When do I receive my wine?
A: If you've selected the pickup option, packages will be available for pickup per the schedule below. Quarterly wine pickup weekends to include a complimentary tastings of the three wines in your shipment will take place Saturdays and Sundays between 11 am and 4 pm in the Production Barn unless otherwise indicated during the Club Pickup Period. Weekday pickups will be available anytime during normal business hours Monday–Friday in the main Tasting Room during the Club Pickup Period.

Q: What happens if I cannot pickup my wine during the Club Pickup Period?
A: If you are unable to pickup your quarterly wine distribution during the Club Pickup Period, your wine will be carefully packaged and shipped to the address on file, and the credit card on file charged $15 for the cost of shipping and handling. The packages will be shipped per the schedule below:

Q: Where can you ship?
A: The Winery at Bull Run can only ship to certain states for our Wine Club shipments. Currently, these include: AK, AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, LA, MA, MD, MN, NC, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, VA, and WV. If you are interested in a location you do not see listed, please inquire, as the winery may add additional states throughout the year.
Q: If I've selected "Ship Option," how is the wine delivered?
A: Wine is shipped via UPS Ground on the date indicated. An adult signature is required, and three shipping attempts will be made via UPS before the wine will be returned to the winery by UPS. The quality of the wine cannot be guaranteed after the first shipping attempt.
Q: Do I need to be home to receive the wine shipment?
A: All shipping companies require an adult signature upon delivery of wine; therefore, someone over the age of 21 must sign for the package. You can have your package delivered to a local UPS location near you, where you can pick it up within 5 days.
Q: What if I did not receive my most recent shipment?
A: If you did not receive your most recent package, please contact the Wine Club Manager at 703-815-2233 Ext 4 or firstname.lastname@example.org. In most cases, we need updated credit card account information to properly process the fees. Once we receive updated information, your wine will be shipped to you or become available for pickup at the winery. Please contact us two (2) weeks prior to shipment with address and account updates to receive your package on time.
Q: May I purchase a membership as a gift?
A: The Winery at Bull Run club membership is a unique way to experience Virginia wines and local history and makes for a special gift for nearly anyone in your life. The variety of wine, events, and benefits suit any palate and occasion. You can purchase a gift membership by checking the “This is a gift.” box on the checkout page on the website or by contacting our Wine Club Manager at 703-815-2233 Ext 4 or email@example.com. If you would like to pay for the entire year up front instead of quarterly billing, please contact our Wine Club Manager.
Q: Can my friend pickup my wine for me?
A: Wine club packages are retrieved at the winery using identification linked to the member's account. If you would like to designate someone else to pickup your wines, please contact the Wine Club Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that benefits are non-transferable.
Q: How do I cancel my membership?
A: The Winery at Bull Run Wine Club memberships require a one year commitment or four quarterly shipments. The initial sign-up fee is non-refundable. Cancellation requests must be made at least 30 days in advance of your membership anniversary date to avoid automatic renewal. Requests may also be made at least 30 days in advance of the quarterly shipment date to ensure you are not charged for the next order. Cancellations of any kind will not be considered without an explicit written or verbal request. Written cancellations can be made via email to the Wine Club Manager at email@example.com. For us to continually improve our members’ experience, we ask that you include the reason for cancellation in your notification. Please note that a $100 cancelation fee will be applied if membership is cancelled before receiving the minimum required four quarterly orders.
Q. Can I switch to another club?
A. There is no cost to switch between the Red and White clubs after two shipments. You may upgrade for free to the Generals Club from the Red or White clubs after four shipments.
Q. Can I put my membership on hold?
A. Yes, you can put your membership on hold by contacting our Wine Club Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org. Hold must be requested in writing at least 5 days prior to the club billing date listed above to avoid being charged. Please note that while your membership is on hold, you will not receive wine shipments and your benefits will also be on hold.
Q: Can my friend, family member, or spouse use my club member benefits?
A: Club benefits are for members to enjoy and are non-transferable.
Q: How can I update my wine club information (address, billing, credit card information, etc.)?
A: You can update your account information by logging into your account on our website or by sending an email to email@example.com.
Q: How can I make online purchases using my wine club discount?
A: You can enjoy the wine discounts associated with your membership by logging into your account on our website. The login button is in the upper right corner of the site. Discounts will be automatically applied to your purchases.
