Patriots' Day

Patriots’ Day 2026 Event at The Winery at Bull Run

Mark America’s 250th Anniversary with an exclusive tasting of Fairfax County’s official commemorative wines at The Winery at Bull Run on Patriots’ Day, Sunday, April 19th, from 12-5 PM.

This tasting features two specially crafted blends: the “Independence” white wine from The Winery at Bull Run, and the “250” red wine from Paradise Springs Winery in Clifton, VA.

Your ticket includes tastings of both 250th Anniversary wines and one complimentary glass of either, as well as the opportunity to purchase both the Independence and 250. Paradise Springs Winery’s “250” red wine will only be available for purchase at The Winery at Bull Run for ticketed guests at this event.

Ticket holders will also have access to the newly expanded Museum located in our Barrel Room, which features over 200,000 Civil War artifacts.

At 3 PM, there will be a commemorative toast by George Washington himself, with Fairfax County officials, owners and winemakers of both wineries, Jon Hickox and Kendell Anderson of The Winery at Bull Run, and Kirk Wiles and Rob Cox of Paradise Springs Winery in attendance. From 3-5 PM, winemakers and owners will be available to chat with ticket-holding guests.

The Wicked Olde will be playing live music at the winery from 2-5PM. The American Legion will also be present for the event as well.

Tickets for tastings MUST be booked in advanced. Space is limited – and so are the wines! These bottles will be available in limited quantities, making this one of the few chances to taste them before they sell out.

Ages 21+ Only.

Cheers to 250 years of American independence!

NOTE: The Paradise Springs Winery tasting event happening the same day on their property requires a separate ticket.
